The chapel on the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem was founded by soldiers from General Anders' army. The author of the paintings inside the building was Tadeusz Zieliński. Thanks to the contributions of Polish soldiers, Stations III and IV of the Stations of the Cross, commonly referred to as the Polish Stations, were also created.
