Narviliškės Castle was built as a defensive manor house by the owner of the local estate, Wojciech Szorc. It was built in the 16th century in the Renaissance style. After the owner's death, Dorota Szorcowa, née Zenowicza, his wife, gave part of the estate to the Franciscans, who built a church and monastery.
