Polonica at the Emigration Museum at Ellis Island in New York

At New York's Emigration Museum, located on Ellis Island, one will come across several objects of Polish emigrants. Among other things, you can see old Polish banknotes on display, but also listen to a recorded oral history in which Polish emigrants talk about their first impressions upon arriving in the United States of America. The room containing the Polish notes was funded by the Polish American Congress, as indicated by a plaque on the wall.
