Abraham Icek Tuszynski (1886-1942), born in Brzeziny, son of Wolf and Feligia, entrepreneur and founder of a cinema chain in the Netherlands. He came from a Polish-Jewish family. In 1904 he emigrated to the Netherlands, where he founded a successful chain of cinemas. One of them is the Theater Tuschinski, still considered to be one of the most beautiful cinemas in the world. In 1940, during the German occupation, Tuschinski was stripped of his property rights and arrested by the Nazis shortly afterwards. He was sent to Auschwitz, where he was murdered in 1943.
