At the head of a virtually invisible earth grave (level with the ground), a plinth with a cuboidal base and shaft and an oval granite base supporting the cast-iron lower part of a metal cross. On the cast-iron part a kneeling angel with the arms of the cross entwined with the 'tree of life'. The cast-iron and metal part secondary, added about 15 years ago after the granite cross was probably lost.
The granite pedestal bears a marble plaque, closed at the top with a segmented arch.

Comments on the state of preservation and visible restoration:

Good state of preservation of plinth. Poor state of preservation of the cast-steel cross. Numerous rust efflorescences and paint flaking indicating progressive corrosion. Poor state of preservation of the marble inscription panel - some letters of the Latin inscription virtually illegible.
