The burial site was originally marked by a figure of an angel on a rock-shaped plinth and base. The angel was situated on a cloud, slightly leaning forward, with flowers in his hands. The figure was dressed in heavily draped robes. On the pedestal at the front a seven-sided irregular plaque with an engraved inscription. Below an engraved signature.
