Parchment scroll with list of expenses, meals and guest list for the wedding of Jadwiga Jagiellonka and George the Rich

The wedding of Hedwig the Jagiellonian and George the Rich took place on 14 November 1475 in Landshut. In the collection of the State Library in Munich there is a scroll of parchments with the title: "Was Kostung über Herzog Georgs des Reichen von Landshut Hochzeit erlaufen", i.e.: how much did the wedding cost. The scroll contains a guest list and describes the costs of the ceremony and meals in detail. The lavishly celebrated wedding was often presented later as a model for royal weddings.
