Biography:

Zofia Iwanowska-Płoszko (1887-1943), Polish violinist, composer and pedagogue. A paramedic during the Polish-Bolshevik war. She learned to play the violin at the Music Institute in Warsaw. She performed in Poland and abroad. Between 1908 and 1916, in addition to giving concerts, she ran a violin school in the capital and taught at the Conservatory of Music. She wrote works for piano, violin and songs. Her works include: Hidalgo e Gitana , Dance of the Fetishes , Triste berceuse .
