Biography:

Cyprian Maculevich (1830-1893), architect and painter. He was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. Between 1879 and 1893, he was the main architect of Vilnius, and constructed around 50 buildings there, including the Palace of Jozef Tyszkiewicz, the Victoria Café, and the Wróblewski Library.
