Sihlfeld Cemetery in Zurich is the largest necropolis in the city. It was designed by Swiss architect Arnold Geiser and opened in 1877. In 2021, the Polonics Institute funded minor conservation work on several gravestones. The works included the graves of: Andrzej Towiański and Karolina Maxow Towiańska; Anna Maxow Guttow; Ferdinand Gutt and members of the Circle of the Divine Cause. The tombstones were cleaned and secured.
