The sculptural group of the Baptism of Christ from the Sholts-Volkhovych stone building, at 23 Market Square in Lviv, is the most impressive example of sculptural decoration of the façade. The authorship is attributed to Herman von Hutte. In 2021, due to the poor state of preservation of the sculpture, rescue measures were taken. Laser scanning was carried out and the statue of Jesus was dismantled. In 2022, due to the war effort, the statue of John the Baptist was also dismantled.
