Burial site originally marked by a cross on a two-stepped plinth and two-stepped base. Cross lies loose beside the gravestone, leaning against the fence, originally on a two-stage moulded plinth. At the intersection of the arms the mount is visible after the figure of Christ. First step of plinth with panel with quarter-cut corners and relief inscription (1). Second step of pedestal closed with segmental arch, bas-relief inscription to front (2). The gravestone is enclosed by an 'L'-shaped fence consisting of a high band passing into a low wall at the head and cylindrical pedestals connected by a double bar. The fence is common to gravestones Nos. 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23.
