At the end of 1914, various skirmishes between Polish legionaries and the Russians took place here. The dead legionaries were buried in Zielona. In 1926 there were 3 legionary graves here, in which dozens of legionaries were buried. The names of 7 of the fallen are known, the others are unnamed. One legionary grave has been preserved to the present day. On it stands a monument in the shape of a massive vertical cube, topped with an openwork iron cross. On the front of the monument is a plaque of red stone with a metal legionary eagle and the inscription: "To the heroes of the Iron Brigade, fallen in the years 1914-1915. honour their memory".In 2018, the grave was looked after by volunteers as part of the campaign "Save a great-grandfather's grave from oblivion". As a result of the 'renovation', a new inscription plaque was placed at the foot of the monument. These actions were not agreed with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, which is responsible for the care of cemeteries and war graves.
