Built in 1540-1548 by Jan Amor Tarnowski, it has been rebuilt many times. Reconstruction at the beginning of the 19th century, carried out by Franciszek Korytowski, changed the character of the building from a castle to a palace. The residential wing and casemates are partially preserved. During archaeological work, artefacts dating back to the 14th century and later were also discovered.
