Tombstone of Antoni Powstański

Burial site marked by a stele on a two-stage plinth and base. Stele with simplified beams, pediment framed by acroterions. On the front a plaque with engraved inscription framed by hawthorn leaves. The first step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges. Second step of pedestal with profiled edges.

In the file of Waclaw Wejtka, under the letter Po card no. 88. No record of the location of the gravestone or the date of the card. Description of the tombstone: "a pyramid of black sandstone, magnificent of colossal height, elaborately executed in its higher part, artistically carved burning torch turned downwards by flame and wrapped in laurel leaves, carvings and filigrees ornamented, of exquisite workmanship. The letters of the inscription in black varnish on a luminous background". Inscription on the gravestone: Here lie the remains / of the late / Antoni / Powstański / a young man full of hope / Born Stycz. 15. d. 1870 + 1884 //. In Wejtka's file a reference to Teliński's publication, to page 217.
