Olgierd Truszyński (1931-2020), born in Poznań, Polish sculptor, medallist. Graduate of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań, in 1956 he defended his diploma at the Department of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (atelier of Prof. Marian Wnuk, in 1965-67 he taught at the Institut des Beaux-Arts in Conankry (Guinea), professor (since 1987) and lecturer at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań, author of sculptural series such as: "Feminists", "Gates", "Circus artists". Creator of sculptures including monumental sculpture, assemblages, medals.
