Cemetery in Młynów

Młynów | Ukraine
ukr. Młyniw (Млинів)

The cemetery lies in the south-eastern part of Mlynów. Zbigniew Hauser mentions 13 burial places, of which two can only be inferred from the surviving cast iron fence, and Polish inscriptions have been read on five. The most impressive and in good condition are the tombstone of Stanisław Gorliński from 1906 in the form of an obelisk made of dark grey granite on a three-tier pedestal and base, and the tombstone of Jadwiga Bartoszyńska, née Wunderlich, a knotty granite cross on rocks with a scroll-shaped inscription. There are also more modest cast-iron tombstones in the cemetery, and the decorative cast-iron fences are noteworthy. Other gravestones are overturned and broken. Posts about the old Mill https://www.facebook.com/groups/mlynivstarovynniy/posts/2979821548955239/ have published photos and comments, saying that the crypts located in the cemetery have been vandalised and looted. It was also mentioned that in recent years a cross has been erected near the obelisk to mark the site of Roman Catholic burials.
