Tombstone of Marianna and Antoni Buraczewski

Burial place originally marked by a cross on a two-stage plinth and base. Cross on moulded plinth, not preserved. The first step of the pedestal with moulded upper edges, a panel with quarter-circle chamfered corners to the front, in which is a relief inscription (No. 1). The second step of the plinth tapering upwards, covered by a two-step profiled panel. A panel on the front, with a bas-relief masquerade decoration at the top, and a bas-relief inscription below (No. 2). The whole is enclosed by a fence consisting of four cylindrical pedestals, originally connected by double metal bars.

Bullet marks. The origin of the tombstone from J. Baranowski's workshop determined by its similarity to signed tombstones cf. B. Gutowski, The Baranowski Workshop in Vilnius (in print). In Wacław Wejtka's card file, under the letter Bo, card no. 378, dated 1936. According to the card file, the old location of the gravestone is sector "D1, N7, 2nd row". Next to the description of the gravestone a note: "black granite monument with cross, fence made of iron bars".
