Tombstone of Jan Szmielewski

Тернопіль | Ukraine

Burial place marked by an obelisk on a two-tier plinth and two-tier base. The obelisk is chiselled, with a bas-relief cross in the lower part at the front, below it an oval photograph on porcelain (a seated man in half pose). The first step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges, glazed. The second step of the pedestal with profiled upper edges, in front a panel with an engraved inscription. In front of the tombstone a plaque with iron entablature. The whole is enclosed by a fence consisting of a high stone plinth and iron bars.
