Tombstone of Leopold Oleniak

Тернопіль | Ukraine

Burial site originally marked by a cross stylised as a tree trunk on a rock-hewn plinth. The cross is not preserved. On the plinth to the right is a relief carved figure of a seated child in an antique tunic reaching to the knees. The child holds his left hand over his heart, with a floral wreath in his lowered right hand. To the left of the figure an irregular plaque with a ritual inscription.

Tu spoczywa / POLDZIO / najukochańszy synek / Wacława i Karoliny / OLENIAKÓW. / * 1 Maja 1888 / + 30 Czerwca 1891 //.
