Tombstone of Salomea Kowalska

Тернопіль | Ukraine

Burial site marked by cast iron openwork cross on plinth. Cross broken in half height. At the intersection of the arms a figure of Christ. In the lower part of the cross a shrine with the figure of Thanatos, above the shrine an angelic head framed by seated putti. The putto on the left holds a chalice with a host (personification of Faith), on the right a wreath (personification of Hope). Plinth covered by a wider panel with pinnacles and acroterions. On three sides engraved frames with chamfered quarter-circle upper corners, in the front one an engraved inscription.
