Tomb of the Recmaniok and Miczek families

Karviná | Czech Republic

Burial place marked by a stele on a two-stage plinth and base in the form of a pile of stones, preceded by three slabs covering the burial cellar. On the base a pedestal with an engraved inscription (2), on which the second step of the pedestal is narrower, with three effigies of the deceased fixed, framed by perpendicular pedestals with space for lanterns. On the second step of the pedestal are two pillars surmounted by a concave-convex segment. In them inscribed a plaque with a ritual inscription (1), in the top of which two effigies of the deceased. In the segment a tondo with a relief carved head of Jesus crowned with thorns. The plaque reaches 5/8 of the height of the pillars surmounted by the segment, creating a blank space in the remaining 3/8 of the height. Above the plaque, quarter columns divided into 8 parts are attached to the pillars at the front. On the panel a plaque with a ritual inscription (3).
