Cemetery in Janów Poleski

Janów Poleski | Belarus
biał. Iwanawa (Іванава), inna nazwa: Janów
The cemetery was established at the end of the 19th century and is currently closed, preserved in poor condition. It is located on the eastern edge of the village, by the former road leading to Pinsk. The area is fenced with a wooden fence and covers approximately 0.35 hectares. Most of the tombstones in the cemetery are destructs from the 1st half of the 20th century, they do not present any artistic or historical value. The oldest preserved tombstone is a cast-iron pedestal with a fragment of a cross on the grave of Jadwiga Grodzka née Rogalewicza (d. 1900).

Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography).
