In the cemetery next to the church there is a graveyard of Polish soldiers killed in the 1920 battles. About 60 graves are situated in three rows, the main monument with the inscription: "God Honour Fatherland / [Virtuti Militari Cross] / To the Heroes / Defenders / of the Fatherland / Peace to their Souls". These graves were destroyed in 1961-1962 - they were pushed into the pond with bulldozers, only the brick and concrete monument survived. In March 2000, the local priest, Krzysztof Gołębiewski, began excavating the gravestones from the pond and made a detailed inventory of them. From the excavated fragments, the priest reconstructed the granite central monument and placed the aluminium Virtuti Militari cross he had found on it, 28 of the excavated crosses were placed on the small gravelled area around the monument. In front of the monument is a wooden missionary cross that had been placed earlier and a plaque commissioned by the priest. The graves in the square have been restored as nameless - the new crosses have no inscription, as the burial places of individual soldiers could not be established. The work was co-financed by the Council for the Protection of Struggle and Martyrdom Remembrance. Restoration work in the cemetery, consisting of cleaning the graves and the area around them, and conservation of the main monument, was carried out in 2020 by the Foundation in Aid to Poles in the East, as part of a task co-financed by the programme of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage 'Places of National Remembrance Abroad'.
