Biography:

Maria Leszczyńska (1703-1768), born in Trzebnica, daughter of Stanislaus Leszczyński and Catherine Opalinska. She married Louis XV, making her queen of France from 1725 to 1768. At the Court of Versailles, she organised weekly concerts by Polish choirs, promoting Polish culture. She had ten children. She was a practising Catholic.
