Tadeusz Domink was born into a poor farming family on 14 January 1928 in Szymanów. He died on 20 May 2014 in Warsaw. He was a pupil of Jan Cybis. In his artistic practice he combined the tradition of Polish colourism with abstraction. He often created works inspired by nature, landscape. He had a successful artistic career with numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad. In addition to painting, he was also involved in printmaking.
