Biography:
Ryszard Otręba was born on 28 February 1932 in Suszec, near Pszczyna. He is a Polish graphic artist, educator and lecturer. In 1953, he began his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He studied graphic art from 1956 under the tutelage of Mieczysław Wejman. In 1966, he was awarded a one-year scholarship in the United States at the Pratt Institute in New York.
