Biography:

Stanisław Wejman born in 1944 in Jędrzejów, graphic artist, painter and pedagogue, Professor of Fine Arts. Initially, from 1962 he studied painting in the atelier of Hanna Rudzka-Cybis at the Faculty of Painting and Graphics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He obtained his diploma in 1968 in the copperplate studio under the supervision of Professor Mieczysław Wejman. After completing his studies, he was employed at his alma mater. He worked in the USA and Canada as a visiting professor and also taught printmaking at art schools in Antwerp, Maastricht, Montreal, Storrs and Urbino, among others. In 1994 he was awarded the title of Professor of Visual Arts.
