Janusz Cywicki, born in 1949 in Przemyśl, graphic artist. He studied graphic art at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań (1972-1976). He obtained his diploma in the Lithography Studio of Prof. Lucjan Mianowski and in the Studio of Knowledge of Visual Actions and Structures of Prof. Antoni Zydroń. Scholarship holder of the Royal Belgian Government at the Nationale Hoger Instituut en Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp (1984 - 1985). He worked as a lecturer (1996-2002), and as an assistant professor at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw, where he led the lithography studio (2002-2007). In 2002, he obtained his doctoral degree at the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, and in 2007 his habilitation at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. He is currently an associate professor at the Faculty of Art, University of Rzeszow.
