Ewa Zawadzka born in 1950 in Łódź, graphic artist. She studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Krakow branch. She obtained her diploma in 1976 in the atelier of Professor Andrzej Pietsch. She taught graphics at the Higher School of Pedagogy in Częstochowa, and at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw. She was awarded the title of full professor in 1999. Currently, she is affiliated with the Faculty of Intermedia and Stage Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.
