Biography:

Krzysztof Wawrzyniak (1954-2016), born in Łask, graphic artist, draughtsman, painter, educator and professor. Studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź. He obtained his diploma in 1979 in the Woodcut Techniques Studio of Professor Andrzej Bartczak and in the Painting Studio of Professor Stanisław Fijałkowski. He was a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (1983-2016). He headed the Drawing Studio at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting (1994-1998) and the Studio of Intaglio Techniques at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting in the Department of Workshop Graphics (1998-2016). He received the title of Professor of Visual Arts in 2001.
