Biography:

Adam Hieronim Sieniawski (1573-1619), Polish nobleman, Grand Chamberlain of the Crown, starosta of Jaworowo, and rotmistrz of the hussars. He fought in Inflants, Estonia and Wallachia, and from 1606 held the post of crown chamberlain. He was loyal to the king during the rebellion, and in 1618 took part in the battle of Orynin against the Turks and Tatars. He founded the settlement of Adamówka near Brzeżany. The tombstone of Sieniawski and his family is in the castle chapel in Brzeżany, and the unique tin sarcophagus was taken to Pieskowa Skała after the Polish-Bolshevik war.
