Biography:

Andrzej Pruszyński (1836-1895), born in Warsaw, was a sculptor. He studied under Jakub Tatarkiewicz and later at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw and at the Academy of St Luke in Rome. Together with Leonardo Marconi, he ran a sculpture studio. Among other things, he was the author of the sculpture in front of the Church of the Holy Cross in Warsaw, depicting Christ carrying the cross.
