Biography:

Anna Wiktoria German-Tucholska (1936-1982), born in Urgencz, daughter of Eugen Hörmann and Irma Martens, singer, composer and actress. Trained as a geologist. She has performed in Europe, America, Asia and Australia and has sung in seven languages. Winner of festivals in San Remo, Cannes, Sopot and Opole. She produced the hit songs "Dancing Eurydice" and "Human Fate". After a car accident in 1967, she returned to the stage, winning a gold record for her album 'Man's Fate'. She was a Seventh-day Adventist. She died in Warsaw and was buried in the Evangelical Reformed cemetery.
