Benedict Rejt (ca. 1454-1543), born in Landshut, Czech builder, architect and stonemason of German origin, known as Master Benedict. A representative of the architecture of the turn of the Gothic and Renaissance. He was the author of, among others, the Church of St. Barbara in Kutná Hora (ca. 1482), the Vladislav Hall (1497-1500) and the Riding Stairs in the Royal Castle in Prague.
