Luzki cemetery

The active Catholic cemetery (former parish cemetery), established in the mid-19th century, is located in the eastern part of the village. The cemetery has a square plan with a truncated corner and is situated on a slight hill. It covers an area of 1.8 ha and is fenced with a wooden fence. The entrance gate is located on the southern side. A path runs through the cemetery, leading to the new part of the cemetery. The oldest dated NN gravestone is of brick and dates from the mid-19th century. We can observe the displacement of old gravestones, by new ones. In the north-western part of the cemetery there is a Polish neglected war quarter from 1920. 64 graves are located there. It has a preserved inscription: / WYSZYNSKI JOZEF / PPOR. OF THE POLISH ARMY / 1920/./ KAPUSCINSKI IGNACY / SZWOL. 1 P. SZWOLEZEROW / † 3.2.1920/./ GORECKI STAN. / ST. ULAN SZT. 1ST BRYG. DRIVING / + 19.2. 1920/./ LEWINSKA ZOFIJA / NURSE HOSPITAL. POL. 107 / 15.3.1920./.
Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography).
