Żyrmunach cemetery

According to the findings of Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak, four gravestones have survived in the churchyard cemetery. The oldest one from 1853 bears the following inscription: "HERE LIE / THE REMAINS OF THE LATE / MARCIN GRZYMAŁŁO / UM. D. 20 NOVEMBER / 1853. AT THE AGE OF 70 / PEACE TO HIS SOUL". The cemetery is maintained in good condition.

Lewkowski and Walczak also describe an active Catholic cemetery. It has a rectangular plan and a 1.9 ha area surrounded by a stone wall. It was created in the mid-19th century, with most burials from the first half of the 20th century and contemporary burials. The oldest gravestone, dating from 1864, has the form of a granite pedestal with a cast-iron crucifix and the inscription: "Ś. P. KAROLINA / OF / WRESTLERS / DIED. 3 NOVEMBER 1864 AGED 73 / ANTONI / D. 6 LICPA / AGE 77 / PUZIELEWICZ". The cemetery is maintained in good condition. Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography).
