Cmentarz żołnierzy armii gen. Andersa

Between 1941 and 1942, when units of General Władysław Anders' nascent Polish army were stationed here, a military cemetery was established in Tockoje-2 for deceased Polish soldiers.

It was presumably separated from the local cemetery. Dozens of Polish soldiers were buried here, the names of 85 of them are known. Wooden crosses were placed on their graves, and a tall cross was erected by Polish soldiers as a central commemoration.

After World War II, the cemetery began to disappear, and by 1995 the central cross was gone and destroyed. On 21-24.09.2005, as part of the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, a memorial to the soldiers buried here was unveiled on the former cemetery grounds. A low semi-circular wall was placed on the paved pavement with seven inscribed plaques (the main plaque and six plaques with the names of the dead). A wooden cross rises above the wall. The main inscription proclaims: "To the memory of the soldiers of the Polish Army in the USSR commanded by General Władysław Anders who died in Tockoje-2 in 1941-1942 and rest in this cemetery. In tribute - Compatriots".
