John Paul II Polish House in Rome

At 1200 Via Cassia in Rome is the John Paul II Polish House, which is a gift from the Polish community purchased in 1981 for the Pope. The House is a place of reception for pilgrims visiting Rome and the headquarters of the Centre for the Documentation and Study of the Pontificate of John Paul II. The Centre's collections include the Order of the White Eagle, which was presented to John Paul II by Lech Wałęsa in 1993, and drawings by Feliks Topolski.
