Ewa Jaworska - sculptor and ceramist

In January 1954, Jaworska was awarded first prize for her ceramic works, which she presented at the Canadian Handicraft Guild. In May 1954, her work was shown by the Robertson Gallery in Ottawa together with paintings by the Canadian painter Jack Humphrey. Jaworska's fanciful ceramic forms were presented in the Polish booth at the Canadian National Exhibition in Montreal, in 1956. In 1962, the artist presented her ceramics at a group exhibition of Polish artists at the National Gallery in Ottawa, organised by the Technicians' Association and the Ottawa Citizenship Council. In 1976, in Ottawa's City Hall, Jaworska participated in a group exhibition of Polish artists. The artist was associated with Ottawa's Robertson Gallery and the Design Centre.
