In the cemetery, to the right of the chapel, is the grave of Edward Pawłowski. The young age and the date of death of the buried person indicate that he may have been a victim of the war (a civilian or a member of the Home Army or another armed organisation fighting against the occupier). The inscription on the grave reads: "Here rests / Edward / Pawłowski / died tragically / 1944-XI-12 / aged 24". The use of the phrase "died tragically" in the text of the inscription, combined with the date of death in 1943 or 1944, very often indicates that the deceased died as a result of fighting the occupying forces or due to wartime repression, but the family erecting the tombstone did not want to write this explicitly so as not to expose themselves to harassment or destruction of the grave.
