In the old part of the main cemetery in Krefeld, there is a quarter of the graves of foreigners from the Second World War, where forced labourers and concentration camp prisoners are buried. Among them are 49 Polish citizens.

In 2020-2021, the Polish-German Reconciliation Foundation, as part of a task supported by the Ministerial Programme "Sites of National Remembrance Abroad", compiled data on the buried persons and made it available, together with a description of the cemetery, on the website of the project "Polish memorials and war graves in Germany": https://polskiegroby.pl/cmentarz.php?jez=pl&cmentarzok=1049&miejsceok=1097&landok=10.
