On 29.04.1944, the subunits of the 5th Battalion of the 77th Infantry Regiment of the Home Army fought two battles against the German-Lithuanian occupation forces. Both clashes took place in the areas organizationally belonging to the Novogrudok District of the AK crypt. "Nów" and ended with the success of the Polish side. The fallen soldiers of the AK were buried in a common grave in the cemetery in Butrymaniec. This grave is located just behind the main entrance gate to the cemetery, on the right side of the path. A horizontal slab with the outline of three graves has been placed here. On a small pedestal stands a black marble slab. At the top of the slab there is a cross in the middle, on the sides there is the emblem of Poland and the sign of Poland Fighting. Below the inscription: "Polegli za Ojczyzna 29 IV 1944 R in Wilkańce 1 komp. V bat. 77th PP AK Nowogródka / Piotr Wojtkiewicz a.k.a. Granat, age 23 / Wladyslaw Gojrzewski a.k.a. Wichura, age 23 / Jozef Mickiewicz a.k.a. Kruk, age 22 Honour their memory" The names of these soldiers can be found on a memorial plaque in the church in Naczy, district of Lida (now in Belarus), dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the AK. Buried in a separate grave is Franciszek Wojciechowicz "Bocian" - the commander of an AK unit that was smashed by an NKVD unit on 18.11.1944 near the village of Raściuny. Apart from Wojciechowicz, 24 Home Army partisans were killed at that time. Their burial place is unknown. This grave is located directly by the main cemetery avenue, on its left side, in the 5th row of graves from the cemetery entrance. The grave is walled in concrete, grass has been sown in the grave field, there is no cross, and there is a small granite plaque at the top of the grave with the inscription "Franciszek Wojciechowicz 1920-1944". After July 1944, two more partisan graves arrived in this cemetery. These graves were located in the left rear part of the cemetery, under a pine tree, near a tall wooden cross with metal rays. A black tile cross was placed on a concrete slab clad in bright tiles, with two concrete crosses painted white just behind it. The inscriptions: "Józef Milewski age 28 d.1945". "Edward Zaleski aged 30 d.1945".
