Biography:

Jan Karol Berezowski (also signed as J. K. B. I J. K. Berezowski), Polish sculptor, mainly creating gravestone sculpture. Together with Bronislaw (?) and Karol Berezowski, they were active in the Tranopol area in the period around 1870-1910. They realised varied projects, efficiently adapting to the demands of their principals. They were capable and competent, though conservative artists. Among the works of Jan Karol Berezowski, the monument to Morawiecka is noteworthy.
