Biography:

Józef K. Specht, a Polish priest sent together with Father Aleksander Michnowski to the Kashubian settlers in Brudenell, Canada, where in 1875 they founded a religious community - the first Polish parish of the Roman Catholic Church in Canada under the name of St Stanislaus Kostka. Specht stayed there until 1876.
