The building is in the Art Nouveau style. The building was a luxury apartment building, and one that bore the hallmarks of Art Nouveau manifested in its decoration. This style, which was part of Modernism, dates back to the last ten years of the 19th century and the first ten of the 20th century. It is worth mentioning that the investor of the building was one of the richest Armenian merchants and financiers who owned several tenement houses. On the ground floor level, strip boning, often mistakenly identified with rustication, was used for decorative purposes. The floors above, on the other hand, are distinguished by a multitude of windows and more subtle ornamentation to give lightness, i.e. ornaments and carvings.
