The Church of the Elevation of the Cross in Brzozdowce was founded in 1769 by Franciszka Rzewuska, wife of Podolski Governor Michał Józef Rzewuski. The church in its form refers to the temple in Hodownica, designed by Bernard Meretyn. In 2018-2019, one of the five illusionist altars underwent restoration work.
