Biography:

Marek Cecuła, born in 1944 in Częstochowa, ceramic artist. He began his adventure with ceramics after emigrating to Israel, where he went at the age of 16. After some time, he moved to Brazil and then to New York. In the 1990s, he decided to return to Poland. Back home, he ran Design Studio Kielce, and later established cooperation with Polski Fabryki Porcelany Ćmielów and Chodzież, which resulted in the creation of Ćmielów Design Studio.
