Biography:

Marian Szajda (1965-), born in Przemyśl, sculptor and medallist. A graduate of the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Jarosław and the Department of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, he obtained his diploma in the atelier of Marian Konieczny in 1991. He is the author of monuments such as Tadeusz Kościuszko in New York, Kazimierz Maria Osiński in Przemyśl, John Paul II in Warsaw and Żagań and the statue of Our Lady of Help of the Faithful in Przemyśl.
