On a high pedestal a tumulus on a tiered base with a sloping gabled lid with a plastic cross. Inscriptions: on the front of the tomb lid (1), on the front of the tomb (2) and on the right side of the tomb in two columns (3).

Valérie Gabrielle Maria Tryon de Montalembert Pawlowska (b. 25 July 1848, La Ferté-Loupière; d. 12 May 1937, Paris) was the daughter of Louis Gaston de Tryon Montalembert (d. 1860) and Valentin Marie Louise Caroline Adéle de Monnier (d. 1881). On 7 August 1872, she married at La Ferté-Loupière Albert Charles Ladislas de Pawlowski, with whom she had a son, Gaston. She died on 12 May 1937 at her home at 33 bis bd de Clichy in Paris, aged 88. According to the entries in the Books of Burials (B.C.), she was buried on 15 May 1937 in Paris, in the 9th arrondissement, and her grave was registered under the annual number 1934 and the general number 58938 (AdP, AD Paris 9e, No 475 of 1937).

Gaston Williams Adam de Pawlowski was born at Joigny (Yonne) on 14 June 1874, the son of Albert Charles de Pawlowski and Valérie Gabrielle Marie de Tryon-Montalembert. Grandson of Adam Tomasz Pawłowski, captain in the Polish Army, an émigré who was born in 1805 in Namysłów and died in Besançon on 10 June 1876, he was an émigré conductor of roads and bridges in the Doubs department, receiving French citizenship (AdP AD Paris 16e, no. 262 of 1933). On his mother's side, he came from the family of the Counts de Tryon de Montalembert. Married on 7 August 1872, he died on 2 February 1933 in Paris, at his residence at 107 rue de la Faisanderie, and was buried on 4 February 1933 after a service at the church of Saint-Esprit in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. He was 58 years old. He was a writer, theatre critic, music critic, literary critic and doctor of law (a graduate of the Ecole des Sciences Politiques and the Ecole de Louuvre). He was also active as a sports reporter. He was made a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour on 24 January 1914 and was made an officer of this prestigious badge on 2 February 1925 (ref. 19800035/1214/40059). In LH's records he was described as a literary, art critic.

Albert Charles Ladislas de Pawlowski was born on 6 May 1846 in Montbéliard (Doubs), the son of Adam Thomas de Pawlowski and Frédérique Elisabeth Caroline Amélie Fallot de Sattler. He was an iron road engineer (ingénieur au chemin de fer de Lonest, from 1866). He lived in Paris, at 33bis boulevard de Clichy, where he died on 23 August 1916 at the age of 70 (AdP AD Paris 9e no. 1284 of 1916). He was buried on 26 August 1916. In the B.C. Burial Books, his burial is listed under general number 58938, year number 2284. He was the husband of Valérie Marie Gabrielle de Tryon de Montalembert and father of Gaston.
